What is SiTV?

SiTV is a fresh, irreverent, English-language Latino cable network that connects with young viewers through vibrant and relevant programming made just for them. Our 24-hour network delivers a mix of original and acquired programming including the latest in entertainment, lifestyle, talk, standup comedy, classic series and feature films, as well as irreverent reality programming that pushes the boundaries of the genre. SiTV goes beyond tradition by catering to today's English-speaking Latinos who consume English media, but still want shows that speak to their Latino roots.

SiTV Early Roots

Founded and chaired by writer/producer Jeff Valdez and entrepreneur Bruce Barshop, Si TV was established in 1997 as a production company to develop, produce and distribute original English-language, Latino entertainment.

The company's slate of shows over the years has included the talk show Cafe Ole© with Giselle Fernandez, the stand-up comedy showcases Funny is Funny! and Latino Laugh Festival and Nickelodeon's highly rated and critically acclaimed family comedy, The Brother's Garcia, which made television history as the first English-language sitcom with an all-Latino cast and creative team of writers, directors and producers. The network launched on February 25, 2004 and is now a cutting edge television network that is putting America's melting-pot onto the screen and further positioning Latino culture into the mainstream. Si TV celebrates the broad appeal of Latino culture and is embraced by its Latino and multicultural audiences.

SiTV’s Mission

Our mission is to deliver authentic and original programming in English while portraying Latinos in non-stereotypical roles. Si TV delivers entertaining programming on subjects that are important to young Latino and multicultural audiences whose culture is an integral part of their identity.

SiTV’s Digital Media

It’s a small world, and we’re trying to make it smaller. We created our new Entertainment and Trends sites with you--our biggest fans and critics--in mind. We’re using our digital space to bring new Latino icons, emerging artists, undiscovered talent and everyday people together to share their work, lives, creativity and views with each other and the rest of the world. By talking about the people and things happening in the areas of entertainment and trends we are creating a larger community of folks who are in the know, on the go and rising to the top.Besides getting the inside track, your activity gets you points and cool gear in return.

Si Trends is the space and place to find and uncover cutting edge fashion, style, arts and trends. Here’s the place where you can find out how to trick your car or customize your sneakers. Or you might stumble across a new make-up line or reviews of exclusive gadgets. Not to mention a chance to find out more about new arts and cultures. Emerging designers, fun fashionistas and everyone in between will get to showcase their unique styles.
